The Wehrmacht army changed the outcome of WWII. The Wehrmacht was literally translated into the people's defense army, the most basic tactic the Wehrmacht used was a fast assault, and the most common weapon used by the Wehrmacht is the MP-40. The best tank used by the Wehrmacht was the Panzer. The Panzer was used in the Blitzkrieg. The Blitzkrieg was a fighting tactic which was a fast or surprise attack. 

Wehrmacht Tactics-

The average squad consisted of ten  men.  Two machine gunners and eight rifle men(historychannel.com). The average riflemen used the Kar 98k or the world famous MP-40(History channel). The two machine gunners laid down cover fire for the rifleman to charge into the opposing force. (Holocaust Survivor) "The Wehrmacht were known as the storm troopers because of there brutality and fast attacks."(Ex Nazi soldier.) The Wehrmacht also incorporated long range rifles to suppress enemy targets(History channel series on Wehrmacht. Posted by Needlenoize).

Wehrmacht Equipment and Vehicles-

The Wehrmacht had some very odd vehicles.  These vehicles included tanks Half Tracks motorcycles and airplanes. The Panzer tank was the highest Tech tank of its era(Panzer Tank Strategy). The Panzer weighed approximately thirty tons.(Panzer Tank Strategy).  The half track was a very versatile troop and support providing offense. The half track is officially called the SD.Kfz. 251(Panzer Tank strategy.). The Germans  had also come out with a high tech tank destroyer known as the Panzerschreck rocket launcher(World War Two.)

Blitzkrieg-

The Blitzkrieg’s literal translation translates to lightning war(5 part Wehrmacht series. history channel). And that is exactly what it was. Poland was overrun by the Wehrmacht’s forces. The most used and effective tactic of the Blitzkrieg was to storm the city or target and overwhelm them. Tanks killed approximately ten thousand people in the Blitzkrieg(Panzer tank strategy). 'Tanks would break all the barriers and clear the way for the ground troops to come in.'(Panzer Tank Strategy)
